Humble Hummus
Humble Hummus is a staple of Red Deer’s food scene providing home-made hummus that can be purchased at the farmer’s market as well as several local stores in Red Deer.
We’ve worked with Humble Hummus since the very beginning, long before Tallack Media Corp. became a reality. We built their original web site in raw HTML back in 2009 for the company’s original owner Jay. We later built them a basic web site in WordPress to make it easier for Jay to update the site himself.
In 2020 Jay sold Humble Hummus to new owner Tawnee who wanted to bring the brand to a whole new level. We worked with her to build a lively modern design showcasing her products, recipes, and left the door open to allow the site to have eCommerce functionality.
The new design uses a mix of beautiful photos provided by Tawnee as well as a few stock photos to really show off the product. We leaned heavily into how Humble Hummus is a local business with the product made right here in Red Deer, Alberta.
